Police search for Downingtown man
WEST WHITELAND >> Police have asked for the public’s assistance in locating a Downingtown man charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property.
Police have an arrest warrant for Clinton Presgrove, 47, of Downingtown, after an investigation determined he allegedly stole $392 worth of merchandise at the Wal-Mart store, and attempted to steal another $698 worth of merchandise.
His whereabouts are currently unknown, and police ask anyone with information to call the police department at 610-692-5100, or to call the anonymous tip line at 610-594-9057, or by emailing tips@westwhiteland.org.
West Chester
Micah Tischler, 30, of West Chester, was charged with possession of marijuana, criminal trespassing, and public drunkenness shortly after 1 a.m., Nov. 18. According to police, an officer helping with a medical situation was flagged down by a resident who said someone was on their porch in the 800 block of Chandlee Drive, and refused to leave. Police said Tischler was uncooperative.
Manuel Jimenez Zavala, 30, of Kennett Square, was charged with DUI, careless driving, and driving without a license after he allegedly overturned his vehicle after he struck a tree at about 11 p.m., Nov. 12.
Misty Cedino, 37, of Philadelphia, was charged with receiving stolen property and driving with a suspended license after an incident on Nov. 22, shortly after 1:30 a.m. Police said Cedino was pulled over after police noticed a stolen registration plate.
Parkesburg
Michael S. McKenna, 45, of Phoenixville, was charged with bad checks and related offenses after passing a bad check on June 22, for landscaping supplies in Highland. Charges were filed Nov. 16. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Dec. 22, before Magisterial District Judge Nancy Gill.
Jonah Jose Reist-Cowell, 18, of Lancaster was charged with drug possession and related offenses after police contact Nov. 15 at East Bridge and West Second Avenue at 1 a.m. A summons has been issued for his appearance in court.
Holly L. Fickes, 43, of Lincoln University was charged with DUI and related offenses, after police contact Sept. 16 in Avondale along Pennsylvania Avenue at 11 p.m. She was processed and released pending a summons.
Scott Layfield, 45, of Georgetown, Delaware, was charged with drug possession and related offenses after police contact Sept. 17 along Pennsylvania Avenue in Avondale. Layfield was processed and released pending summons.
