Anthony Kulinich, formerly of Coatesvill­e

Anthony Kulinich was born July 20,1921 in Coatesvill­e, Pa. He was the son of Anton and Mary Kulinich. He lived there where he married Pearl. They moved to New Holland, then moved to Hebron, Ohio with their daughter Joyce. He passed away on Nov.22 at 95 years of age after a sort stay at Chapel Grove Inn in Heath, Ohio.

“Tony” and his wife Pearl celebrated their 73rd anniversar­y on May 8 2016.

He had 3 sisters and 2 brothers, all preceding him in death.

He worked at Lukens Steel for 40 years. In 1940 he was in the first class to graduate from the new Coatesvill­e High School. He was the first lifetime member of the Atglen Sportsman’s Club and was very active at the club. He was an avid hunter. He had a special interest in archery and won numerous trophies in that endeavor. He also enjoyed deep sea fishing for flounder and playing baseball. As a member of the Olive Street Presbyteri­an Church in Coatesvill­e, Pa., he often provided transporta­tion for folks who could not drive. “Tony” was always ready to help whenever there was a need. He was a loving and supportive father to his children Joyce and Anthony. He is survived by his wife Pearl Kulinich , his two children: Joyce Teti, Hebron, Ohio, who was his caregiver and with whom he lived for several years, and a son Anthony Kulinich Jr. and his wife Paulette, Denver, Pa., along with several nieces Darla Ames and Tammy Paisley , and a cousin Sandy Nunemaker. All live in the Coatesvill­e area.

Services will be held at Olive Street Presbyteri­an Church on Thursday, Dec. 1 2016 at 11 AM, with visitation from 10 to 11, and burial service following at Fairview Cemetery. Contributi­ons in lieu of flowers can be made to Olive Street Presbyteri­an Church, 1400 Olive Street, Coatesvill­e, Pa. 19320.
