Charles “Pete” E. Dalton III, 85, of Vineland, N.J. passed away on Tuesday evening, November 29, 2016 after a brief illness. Pete was born & raised in New York City. Pete was predecease­d by his wife of 59 yrs, Virginia “Ginny” Revere Dalton (nee Collins). Virginia was 79 when she passed away on July 14, 2016 after an extended illness. Ginny was born in Beaumont, TX.

Before retiring, Pete was employed as a Civil Engineer, father, grandfathe­r & brother. He enjoyed playing golf and sports. He served as a CPL in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was a longtime resident of West Chester, PA prior to moving to Vineland in 2012. He loved tennis, reading, gardening, taking trips & spending time with family.

Pete is survived by 3 daughters; Karen (Robert) Lindner, Barbara (Bruce) Panczner, Mary Beth (Tim) Mahon & 2 granddaugh­ters Jillian & Meredith Mahon. He also leaves behind siblings Walter (Cheryl) Collins, Edie (George) Sennett, Dorothy (Mike) Crossan, Bruce Dalton, Debra Childers, Richard Dalton, along with many nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be private. A celebratio­n of Life will take place for both Pete & Ginny.
