James M. Forsyth of Chadds Ford

James Moore Forsyth passed away on Friday evening, January 6, 2017.

He was the husband of Alma Saunders Forsyth.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Hugh Isabelle Angus Forsyth.

Before retiring, James was a Manufacturing Engineer and Consultant, employed by General Electric, Federal-Pacific Electric, Samsonite, and Cole Steel/ Litton industries.

James served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Airborne VW-1 Squadron based in the South Pacific.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 3 children, Leslee Forsyth Antrilli, Kevin James Forsyth, Lisa Forsyth; and 4 grandchildren, Brad Forsyth, Amanda Forsyth, Max Forsyth, Tia Forsyth; and 1 great-granddaughter, Riley Forsyth.

Funeral Services will be private.

A Celebration of Life will be held in June for family and friends.
