Dorothy E. ‘Pat’ Arcuri of Exton

Dorothy E. “Pat” Arcuri, 86, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at Neighborho­od Hospice of West Chester. She was the loving wife of the late Vincent Arcuri, sharing 58 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 2008.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pat was the daughter of the late Marion W. and Dorothy E. (Liebtag) Fry. She was a 1948 graduate of Brentwood High School. She went on to graduate from Robert Morris College in 1950, earning an associate’s degree in business.

Pat loved ballroom dancing and was a teacher of ballroom dancing for many years. She loved life and adventure and was willing to try new things. Pat had a positive outlook in all that she did and she lived life to its fullest. She was a creative person, having an endless flow of talents and ideas. In her spare time, she also enjoyed playing card games, especially bridge, she was an avid gardener, and she was an excellent cook. Pat was a loving grandmothe­r, passionate about her grandkids. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Michele (Jim) Anderson, of Florida, Cynthia (Allen) Hamilton, of West Chester, Mary (Jim) Arcuri-Hamm, of Virginia, Patricia (Bob) Kurtz, of California, and Beth (Robert) Fratantoni, of Chester Springs; sons, Vincent (Kathleen) Arcuri, of Chicago, and Michael (Bobette) Arcuri, of Exton; brother, Robert (Doris) Fry, of Florida; and grandchild­ren, Michael (Amanda) Arcuri, Jr., Jennina Arcuri, Shelbi Arcuri, Peter Fratantoni, Jimmy Fratantoni, and Anna Fratantoni. She was predecease­d by a brother, Ronald Fry.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, at St. Joseph Church, 338 Manor Avenue, Downingtow­n, where family and friends may call from 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Inurnment will be in Florida National Cemetery at a later date.
