The Bulls had a chance to tie, but the Golden Knights (11-5) stole the ball, then ran out the clock.

Jake Nelson led Rustin with 16 points and Tajir Asparagus added 10.

CHRISTOPHE­R DOCK 64, COLLEGIUM CHARTER 54 >> Zhion Wesley had 16 points as the Cougars (4-12) fell in the nonleague contest. Zaire ToliverHar­rison added 11 points..

OCTORARA 82, WEST CHESTER EAST 67 >> Dom London (25), Gary Grove (24) and Jamonti Mayo (22) combined for 71 points as the Braves (76) rolled to the nonleague victory.

Zae Murrey poured in 36 points for the Vikings.

HENDERSON 32 >> Miranda Porretta scored 15 points as the Hornets held on for the nonleague victory.

Grace Ferguson paced the Warriors with eight points. Leading scorer Emma Bertrando was held scoreless.

COATESVILL­E 80, READING 45

>> Dee Dee Irwin scored 22 points as the Red Raiders (13-3) used a big second half to record the nonleague victory. Sarah Huston added 19 points and Amaya Douglas chipped in 17. Coatesvill­e outscored Reading, 31-6, in the third quarter to gain control.

GARNET VALLEY 51, UNIONVILLE 38 >> Samantha Ciccarelli had 10 points and Maddie Shanahan had eight as the Indians (8-6) fell in the nonleague contest. COLLEGIUM CHARTER 55, CHRISTOPHE­R DOCK 15 >> Destyni Wood had 14 points to lead the Cougars (12-2) to the nonleague victory.

GREAT VALLEY 103.5. KENNETT 64.5 >> Emil Jurcik won a pair of events for the Blue Demons (0-3, 2-6) in the Ches-Mont American meet. Jurcik captured the 200 free and the 100 fly and Nathan Ober nabbed the 100 breast.

Wrestling

COCALICO DUALS >> Downingtow­n East (10-10) placed sixth out of 10 games with a 2-3 mark. Wins came against Wilson West Lawn, 39-32, and Strath Haven, 45-31. They lost to Garden Spot, 4923, Northern Lebanon, 57-15 and Emmaus, 45-34. Lukas Richie (120), Josh Wileczek (195) and Brendan McGinley (285) were a perfect 5-0.

HAVERfORD DUALS >> The Vikings (4-4) went 2-2 on the day, beating Western Reserve of Ohio, 54-21, and Northern Lehigh, 43-28. Losses came against Roman Catholic, 3931 and Haverford School, 3734. Corey Celenza went 4-0 at 113 pounds. Andrew DiBernardo (120), Jamison (Eadie (120), Mike Manieri (182) and Tommy Luke (126) went 3-1.

EXETER DUALS >> Downingtow­n West went 4-1. They beat Hazelton 49-18, Manheim Central 56-9, Penn Manor 53-19 and Stroudsbur­g, 34-28. The lone lost came to host school Exeter in the final, 44-22. Cole Zapf was a perfect 5-0, while Gio Angelini, Doug Zapf, Nick Lilley and Maximus Hale all went 4-1.

Boys Indoor Track

NEW BALANCE GAMES Coatesvill­e won the team title at the meet. Terrance Laird set a meet record in winning the 55-meter dash in a time of 6.41. The 4 x 200 team took first at 1:29.01. Eric Kirk was second in the long jump with an effort of 21-2 ¼. Valiant McKee was third in high jump and Nahim Moore placed sixth in the triple jump.

Girls Indoor Track

NEW BALANCE GAMES >> Caroline Billone and Porsha Miles both won events at the New Balance Games. Billone took the triple jump with a leap of 37-7, while Miles was first in the 300-meters at 40.21. The DMR team of Tina Mitchell, Wiltrcia Snoh, Corrine Gallagher and Leah Moffitt was seventh. Darby Morgan was seventh in the shot put and Maria Ellis was eighth in the pole vault. The Red Raiders finished sixth in the team standings.

College Men’s Basketball

IMMACULATA 77, CAIRN 61 >> The Mighty Macs (8-9, 6-4 CSAC) used a 23-5 run to close out the game for the CSAC victory. Sphomore Mike Piekarski had a teamhigh 18 points, four blocks, three steals, and six rebounds. Senior Matt Simon had 10 points and added eight rebounds, while junior Eric Pittman and freshman Jordan Ambrose added nine points each.

Women’s Basketball

VIRGINIA UNION 91, LINCOLN

57>> She’Cquan Bailey had 18 points and six rebounds as the Lions fell to nationally ranked Virginia Union in the CIAA contest. The Lions fall to 5-13 overall and 3-6 in the CIAA. The Panthers, ranked second nationally, improves to 17-0 on the season and 8-0 in the league. Teira Pendleton added 11 points, while Jaeda Davis kicked in 10 points, five rebounds and four assists.

IMMACULATA 79, CEDAR

CREST 37 >> Immaculata won its second straight as they rolled past Cedar Crest in a CSAC contest. Immaculata improves to 5-12 overall and 5-3 in the CSAC. Cedar Crest falls to 3-12 overall, 1-8 CSAC. Tamyra Laws posted a double-double once again with 20 points and 20 rebounds. Laws also added four blocked shots and two assists. Theresa Walsh scored a career high with 20 points, while adding six rebounds, two blocks and two steals. Annie Kohutka also reached double figures in scoring with 10 points, while Gina Cocci added nine points and two assists. Amber Ballinger grabbed eight rebounds to go along with four steals, and Mamako Johnson had five rebounds. Erica Kramer finished with five points and four steals.

College Women’s Gymnastics

NEBRASKA 196.050, RUTGERS 194.200, BROWN 190.650, WEST

CHESTER 190.475 >> West Chester placed fourth overall in a quadrangul­ar hosted by Rutgers University. Senior Majesta Valentine placed sixth in the all-around with a score of 38.175. She was fifth on the floor exercise (9.825), sixth on the balance beam (9.75) and ninth on the vault (9.725). Meghan Chan was the team’s top finisher on the beam, placing fourth with a 9.8. Her fourth-place showing was the highest by a Golden Rams gymnast in any event as well.

College Men’s Track

COLLEGEVIL­LE CLASSIC Ghassan Dix placed fifth in the 400m and helped the 4x400m relay team to a runner-up position for West Chester. Dix crossed the finish line in 52.42 seconds, just ahead of teammate Shawn Young (52.48), to pace the Golden Rams in the sprints. Dix and Young were the first two runners up on the Golden Rams’ 4x400m relay team that was second in 3:31.29. Jim McDaid and Colin McClusick were the other two participan­ts on that relay team. Derrick Clements was sixth in the 200m (23.58). Josh Coakley placed fourth in the 800m with a time of 2 minutes, 02.15 seconds, while West Chester also claimed sixth and seventh in the event. Andrew Dombrowiec­ki finished fourth overall in the 5000m with a time of 16:16.73. Nick Angelina came in seventh in the mile run (4:40.19).

Women’s Track

COLLEGEVIL­LE CLASSIC >> The middle distance and sprints showed plenty of depth for West Chester. The Golden Rams placed three runners among the top four in both the 60m and 200m sprints. Meanwhile West Chester claimed second, fifth, sixth and seventh in the 400m. The Rams’ strong showing in the 400m foreshadow­ed their team win in the 4x400m relay later in the afternoon. It was one of three first-place ribbons. Allison King won the 200m, crossing the line in 26.97 seconds. Allison Lewis also won the 800m with a time of 2:21.22. Finishing behind King in the 200m were Alyson Hall and Emily Magnant, third and fourth respective­ly. Lewis was two seconds faster than teammate Laura Slavich, who was second, in the 800m. Slavich recorded a time of 2:23.18. Magnant, who was fourth in the 200m, was runner-up in the 60m dash (8.13). King and Hall were third and fourth, respective­ly, in 8.16 and 8.17. Dara Lindsey was runner-up in the 400m in a time of 1:00.97. Holly Szita was runner-up in the high jump, clearing 5 feet, 1 inch. Pugh was second in the triple jump, leaping 37-1¼. Olivia Embleton was right behind Pugh with a leap of 351¼. Carleigh Greco was third in the long jump (16-3¼).
