Doris A. Hollowell of Downington, formerly of Sharon Hill and Collingdale

Doris A. Hollowell, 86 of Downingtown, PA went home to be with the Lord Saturday January 21, 2017, at Neighborhood Hospice Inpatient Unit in West Chester.

She was the wife of the late Charles Hollowell.

Born January 18, 1931, in Collingdale, PA she was the daughter of the late Charles G. Farrow and the late Daisy Brown Farrow.

She was a proud graduate of Collingdale High School class of 1949.

She made it her life’s purpose to take care of her children and grandchildren. She was homemaker extraordinaire. She will be dearly missed by friends and family.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol L. Patton (Scott) of Downingtown and Chip (Tina) Hollowell of North Wildwood, New Jersey: grandmother of Tim (Ariane) Patton and Stephen (Stephanie) Patton.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her Funeral Service 1:00 pm Thursday January 26, 2017, at Hopewell United Methodist Church, 852 Hopewell Rd., Downingtown, PA.

Interment will be held in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to United Methodist Church Camp, Camp Innabah, 712 Pughtown Rd, Spring City, PA 19475.
