Russell scored off a feed from from Cameron Cortese to take the lead for the Vikings against their crosstown rivals.

Alex Gershman scored in the second to tie the game at 2-2.

Charles Carsello and Dylan Soster tallied in the first period for the Vikings.

DOWNINGTOW­N EAST 8, CONESTOGA 0 >> Maddie Allen, Maddie Huff and Molly McVety scored a pair of goals each as the Cougars cruised to the ICSHL victory. East had an incredible 92-0 shots advantage over the Pioneers. Molly Rearden and Maureen Armbrust notched thre assists each.

Boys Basketball

BISHOP SHANAHAN 64, UNIONVILLE 42 >> Kevin Dodds and Dan Browne had 12 points apiece as the Eagles (13-5) were in control from start to finish in the nonleague victory.

Bo Fuery-Bastian paced the Indians (8-9) with nine points.

Girls Basketball

WESTTOWN 64, FRIENDS SELECT 29 >> Emma Diaz went for 21 points as the Moose rolled to the Friends School League victory. BISHOP SHANAHAN 46, UNIONVILLE 42 >> Courtney Warley had 11 points Sammi McCarter eight in the fourth quarter as the Eagles (10-7) rallied for the nonleague victory. McCarter ended with 13 points and Warley 11, her ninth straight game scoring in double-figures.

Grace Schrof tossed in 19 points for the Indians (10-7) Maddie Shanahan added 11. CONESTOGA 44, LOWER MERION 23 >>

Emma Powell had 13 points, Liz Scott nine and Katie Mayock added eight as the Pioneers cruised to the Central League win.

Girls Swimming

COATESVILL­E 117, BISHOP SHANAHAN 54 >> Lauren DiCamillo, Peyton Wolf, Kristin Baria and Kayla Bock were quadruple winners for the Red Raiders (1-3, 4-3) in the Ches-Mont National victoery. The four were part of the 400 free relay team, while Bock and DiCamillo were on the 200 free relay and Wolf and Bria were part of the 200 medley relay. DiCamillo won the 200 IM and 100 back, Wolf the 100 fly and 100 breast, Bock the 200 and 500 free and Bria the 50 and 100 free.

Victoria Fidanza was firat in diving for the Eagles.

GREAT VALLEY 95, OXFORD 62 >> Becca Choi and Allyssa won two indiidual events each for the Patriots (3-0). Choi grabbed the 50 free and 100 breast. Utecht won the 10 free and 100 back.

Morgan Curl was victorious in 200 IM and the 500 free for the Hornets. UNIONVILLE 100, GARNET VALLEY 83 >> Maura Grimed was a quadruple winner for the Indians in the nonleague triumph. Grimes was a member of the 200 medley and 200 free relay teams. She also took first in the 100 fly and 100 back. Camryn Carter and Jessica Homitz won three events each.

Boys Swimming

COATESVILL­E 110, BISHOP SHANAHAN 68 >> Bryce Nika won four events for the Red Raiders (2-2, 5-2) in the Ches-Mont National victory. Nika captured the 50 free, 100 breast, 200 medley relay and 200 free relay. Matt Oleykowski took the 100 fly, 100 back and 200 medley relay, while Jack Giles was on the 400 free relay team and won the 100 free.

Jack Fidanza took the 200 and 500 free for the Eagles. Tom Powell took the 200 IM and Michael Robinson won diving.

GREAT VALLEY 77, OXFORD 65 >> The Patriots (2-1) received wins from Shehab Ahmed in the 50 free and Nick Cave in the 100 breaststro­ke to notch the Ches-Mont American win.

Jeb Darhower took the 200 and 500 free and Mike Axelson won the 200 IM and the 100 free.

UNIONVILLE 108, GARNET VALLEY 69 >> Matt Tascione and Justin McLellan were triple winners as the Indians posted non league victory. The paier were part of the 200 medley relay team, Tascione also won the 50 free and the 100 breast. McLellan took the 200 IM and the 100 free.

HAVERFORD SCHOOL 105, MALVERN PREP 85 >> Haverford clinched the Inter-Ac title by defeating the Friars (4-1, 7-2). Trevor Henderson won diving for Malvern and Pat Sayers was second.
