Virginia L. ‘Ginny’ Stine of Downingtown

Virginia L. “Ginny” Stine, 88, passed away quietly on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Zerbe Sisters in Narvon.

She was the beloved wife of the late Donald G. Stine, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 2011.

Born in Unionville and raised in Downingtown, Virginia was the daughter of the late Newlin P. and Audrey Adams Thompson.

Mrs. Stine is survived by her children, Donald Leslie Stine of Downingtown, Robert Newlin Stine of South Carolina, and Donna W. Dymek and her husband, Joseph, of Honey Brook; grandchildren, Edward Joseph Dymek and Kimberly Lorraine Parise and her husband, Phil; great grandchildren, Mckenzie, Andrew and Charlotte; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by her brothers, Donald and Larry Thompson. Virginia was a huge Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State football fan. Her biggest fans were her children and grandchildren, whom she worshiped and adored.

Services will be private at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the James J. Terry Funeral Home, Downingtown.
