Teira Pendleton scored a career high 22 points as the Lions rallied from a double-digit second-half deficit to upset fifth-ranked Virginia Union. The Lions improve to 7-17 overall and 4-10 in Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Games. The Panthers fell to 21-2 overall and 12-2 in the CIAA. The win also marks the second season in a row that the Lady Lions have defeated a nationally ranked Virginia Union squad at home. Pendleton’s 22 points led four Lincoln players in double figures and also marked the first time an LU player scored 20 or more points in a game this season. Kholby Oliver came off the bench to score 16 points and She’cquan Bailey added 13, including a perfect 5-5 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter. Monique Cheek chipped in 10 points and led the team with four assists, while Pendleton had a team-high eight rebounds and a career-best five steals.

The Golden Rams fell to East Stroudsburg in the PSAC East matchup. West Chester (9-13, 9-9) was only down by five at the half, before East Stroudsburg’s third quarter outburst (157, 11-7 PSAC). The Warriors went on a 13-0 in the third quarter to extend their lead. The Golden Rams picked up the pace in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough to overcome the Warriors’ attack. Turnovers were a key issue for the Golden Rams, tallying a total of 23 this afternoon. Porscha Speller jed the Rams with 13 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals. Camden Boehner added 11 points.

The Mighty Macs (12-11, 10-6 CSAC) won their third consecutive game as they pulled away in the second half against Marywood (419, 4-12 CSAC). The Macs are still in fifth place in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC), one game behind Rosemont. Sophomore Mike Piekarski collected the eighth doubledouble of his career with a career-best 25 points to go with 10 rebounds and three steals. Roy Ferrell Jr.added 15 points, while senior Matt Simon had eight points, eight boards, and four assists.
