Earle F. Anderson Jr. of West Chester

Earle F. Anderson, Jr., 80, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia.

He was the beloved husband of Vadie Irene (nee Trivette) Anderson, sharing 47 years of marriage together.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Earle F. and Lena (nee Warner) Anderson, Sr.

Earle was a 1954 graduate of Springfield High School in Delaware County. He went on to be employed by Hercules, Inc. as a junior technician, retiring with 36.5 years’ service. He also proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force Reserves.

In addition to his wife, Earle is survived by his daughters, Glenda (Rob) Evans, of Tampa, FL, Lesa (Joe) Jordan, of Johnson City, TN, Nancy (Joe) Anderson-Berkson, of Laguna Niguel, CA, and Tami Clark, of Coatesville; sister, Denise Anderson, of Tennessee; 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Kline; brother, Howard Anderson; sister, Patricia Rosenberger; and a granddaughter, Angela Jacobs.

A viewing will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 East Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 17, at Faith Community Baptist Church, 1585 Glenside Road, Downingtown, with a viewing at the church from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in East Brandywine Baptist Cemetery, Downingtown.
