Energy briefing slated for Friday
In light of energy market volatility and Pennsylvania’s pending energy plan, the Chester County Economic Development Council and the Smart Energy Initiative are hosting the region’s top players in the energy industry for their 2017 Energy Briefing.
The annual briefing comes as the new Trump administration calls for an expedited review of the Keystone XL pipeline, and provides business and community leaders insights regarding 2017 energy markets, policies and opportunities, and provides access to the Delaware Valley’s key energy players.
Speakers from the industry will present information on: Industry Forecast, Trends in Energy and How Businesses in Pennsylvania are affected. They will also address pricing shifts in the market and which types of energy are the smartest right now.
The event will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at the PJM Conference and Training Center, 2750 Monroe Boulevard, Audubon, Pa., 19403

Downingtown resident joins Mortgage Network
Christina Taraborelli of Downingtown has joined Mortgage Network Inc., one of the largest mortgage bankers in the eastern U.S., as a loan officer in the company’s Conshohocken branch office. In her new role, Taraborelli will be responsible for serving the home financing needs of buyers and homeowners in Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs.
Taraborelli, who is licensed to do business in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, has eight years of mortgage banking experience in the suburban Philadelphia area. Previously, she served as a loan officer and later as a branch manager for HSBC. Taraborelli began her financial career as a commercial loan officer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Florida State University.
