Fifth-seeded Immaculata saw its season come to end in the Colonial States Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinals Monday night with a 102-78 loss at fourth-seeded Rosemont.

Immaculata ends the year with a 12-14 overall record, while Rosemont advances to the conference semifinals against top-seeded Neumann with a 16-10 mark.

Senior Roy Ferrell Jr. led a trio of Immaculata scorers in double figures with 17 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals. Freshman Jordan Ambrose and senior Michael Griffin III each added 10 points, as Ambrose also grabbed five rebounds. Freshman Jeffery Powell-Young added eight points, four rebounds, two steals and one blocked shot. Sophomore Mike Piekarski had seven points to go along with a team-best seven rebounds, as well as having two assists and four blocked shots. Junior Eric Pittman Jr. added seven points.

The Mighty Macs got on the scoreboard first as Piekarski put in a layup 54 seconds into the game, but the Ravens scored 11-straight points before Immaculata could answer for the 11-2 edge with 16:47 to play in the opening half.

Pittman Jr. got the second bucket of the night for Immaculata at the 16:08 mark to make it an 11-4 contest. However, Rosemont followed with a 16-1 run that began to distance the hosts from their guests. The Ravens’ spurt gave them a 27-5 lead with 8:39 to play in the half, and the run included four 3-point field goals.
