Travel restrictions for two state highways
Two state highways in Chester and Montgomery counties will be restricted for utility improvements
Travel restrictions are scheduled on Horace Avenue and Route 252 for utility installations.
KING OF PRUSSIA >> Travel restrictions are scheduled on Horace Avenue in Montgomery County and Route 252 (Valley Forge Road) in Chester County, for utility installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Tuesday.
Weather permitting, the work schedule is:
Thursday, Feb. 23, though, Wednesday, March 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Verizon will restrict traffic weekdays on Horace Avenue between Route 611 (Old York Road) and Bockius Avenue in Abington Township, Montgomery County, for conduit installation. Traffic will be controlled by flagging; and
Thursday, Feb. 23, though, Thursday, March 9, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Aqua Pennsylvania will restrict traffic weekdays on
Route 252 (Valley Forge Road) at Sullivan Road and Anthony Wayne Drive in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, for water main installation.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work areas.
Verizon and Aqua Pennsylvania will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
