Elizabeth A. Snyder of Exton
Elizabeth A. Snyder, 80, of Exton, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Brandywine Senior Living at Longwood.
Born in Brockton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth Karsnik Fernando.
She was the loving wife of the late Charles J. Snyder, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2014.
Elizabeth graduated from Blythe Twp. High School in 1954 and Immaculata College in 1984. She worked as the Director of Purchasing for S.P.I. Polyols before retiring in 1998.
She loved to travel the world with her husband, was a great cook and loved to entertain. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Sharon Beswick and her husband Wayne of Exton; two granddaughters, Keri and Krista Beswick; a sister, Emaline Fernando of Tamaqua; and a brother, James Fernando. She was predeceased by her grandson, Kyle Beswick; three brothers, John, Albert and Louis Fernando and by a sister, Mary Somerville.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 16th, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 99 Valley Street, New Philadelphia, PA 17959, where family and friends may call from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
