Chester County Futures raises funds
Chester County Futures hosted its fifth annual “Strikes for Futures” at the Downingtown Bowling Palace earlier this month.
Over 200 bowlers attended in support of Chester County Futures’ 450 economically disadvantaged students and academic programs. Raffle baskets, auction items, prizes and food were featured.
Their fundraising efforts, totaling close to $9,000, will allow for Chester County Futures to continue providing academic enrichment, mentoring and scholarship support for students in four school districts throughout the county.
Jen Boyett, government affairs manager with Comcast stated: “Comcast was thrilled to sponsor Strikes for Futures again this year.
“It’s such a fun and unique event that we always love to participate in.”
Additional sponsors included: PJ Whelihan’s Pub and Restaurant Downingtown, Wegman’s, Magic Memories, Benchmark Federal Credit Union, US Army Recruiting, Fulton Bank, Ashford Wealth Advisors, M&A Catalyst, and Frank and Cindy Cirone.
