Diane Mae McAdams (nee Huber) of the Downingtown area

Diane Mae McAdams (nee Huber), age 62, passed away on Monday February 13, 2017. Born in Norristown, PA, on September 21, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Verna Huber. She was the devoted wife of the late John McAdams, who passed in 2001.

Diane attended North Penn High School and graduated with a B.S. from Drexel University. She enjoyed working as a home health aide to many clients in the Downingtown area and was very passionate about learning the real estate business. She was very talented in sewing, scrapbooking, among other crafts, and loved to travel. She was active at the Woodland Community Church. Diane had a beautiful singing voice and also played the piano and flute. Those who knew Diane, will most remember her infectious laugh and smile. She was a very kindhearted person, and even in her death was able to give by donating to the Gift of Life program.

Diane is survived by her siblings, Walter Huber, Shirley Huber Stensland, and Gloria Huber O’Brien; nephews and niece Tim, Don, Dan, Gary, Curtis, Sean, and Katelynn; and four grand-nephews and four grand-nieces.

Relatives and friends are invited to join in Diane’s Life Celebration Service which will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at 10:30am at the Mauger Givnish Funeral Home, 24 Monument Avenue, Malvern, PA. Visitation will be held from 9:30am to 10:30am. Interment will be at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.
