Rasero leads Kennett to sweep
Noah Rasero dropped just one game at third singles to help Kennett (11, 2-1) roll past Coatesville, 7-0, in a Ches-Mont League boys tennis contest Wednesday.
Rasero won, 6-0, 6-1. Trent Harner captured first singles, 6-2, 6-1.
Coatesville falls to 0-2.

College Women’s Lacrosse
IMMACULATA 11, RUTGERSCAMDEN 3 » Layne Kennedy had four goals as the Mighty Macs (3-2) notched the nonconference victory. In the first half, the Mighty Macs opened the scoring with a free position goal from Kennedy with 25 minutes left to stake Immaculata to an early one-goal advantage. This lead would grow as the Mighty Macs jumped out to a 5-0 lead thanks to another two goals from Kennedy, and goals from Amanda Maher and Bailey Krewson. The Macs would score once more before halftime with 3:41 left when Brittany Whaley took a pass from Nicole Dominick to make the score 6-1 heading to the break. Meredith Katona had two goals, while Dominick had one goal and two assists and Whaley finished with one goal and one assist. Olivia Carter, Krewson and Maher all scored one goal to lead the Macs to victory. Freshman goalie Emily Schumann made 11 saves.
Men’s Lacrosse
BRYN ATHYN 14, IMMACULATA 10 » Mike Reardon had four goals and one assist while picking up three ground balls for the Mighty Macs (0-5) in the non-conference defeat. Brian Shultis and Tyler Black each scored three goals and one assist. Shultis added four ground balls, while Black was 10-for-17 on face-offs with five ground balls. Ethan Johnson had two assists, a team-high eight ground balls and four faceoff wins.
