Aging with Spirit & Wisdom

Beth Chaim Reform Congregati­on: The synagogue, at 389 Conestoga Road, Malvern, is hosting a three-part series for the Greater Philadelph­ia Community. Listen, discuss, and gain guidance on aging and planning for you and your loved ones. Session 1, Thursday, April 27 from 7 to 9 p.m., is Aging and Sage-ing, a Jewish Perspectiv­e. Starting the Conversati­on Early and in Crisis, Meeting the Needs of People in Crisis, End of Life Grief; Session 2, Sunday, April 30, from 3 to 5 p.m. is Organizing Your Papers for Aging; Session 3, Thursday, May 4, from 7 to 9 p.m. is The Emotional Survivor Guide for Caregivers. Easter Egg Hunts

Romansvill­e United Methodist Church: The church at 1859 W. Strasburg Road, Romansvill­e is hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt Sunday, April 9 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Come out and hear the real Easter Story and enjoy the camaraderi­e of family and friends while your children hunt for Easter Eggs. There will be over 1,200 eggs filled with wrapped candy, plus prizes for the children. Don’t forget to bring your Easter basket. This is a free community event, so everyone is invited. Bethany Presbyteri­an Church: The church, at 316 Kennett Pike in Chadds Ford, will host its annual Easter Egg hunt at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 8, rain or shine. Hundreds of candy and prize filled eggs will be hidden. Free hot dogs and a gift for each child under age 12 attending. All are invited. Annual Family & Friends Day

Saint Luke UAME Church: The church, at 117 South Franklin St., West Chester, will host Family and Friends Day Sunday, May 12. Morning Worship begins at 11 a.m. Rev. James C.Burton, pastor, will preach. Afternoon Worship begins at 3 p.m. with Rev. Linwood Rideout III, presiding Prelate of the 1st & 4th Episcopal Districts of the Union American Methodist, preaching. The congregati­on and choir of Trinity UAME Church, Media will accompany Bishop Rideout, who also is the pastor at Trinity.

WFCS Mom’s Day Out Program

West Fallowfiel­d Christian School: Little Falcons Preschool, 795 Fallowfiel­d Road, Atglen, hosts a “Mom’s Day Out Program” for children ages three to five the third Wednesday of each month from noon to 3 p.m. The goal of the program is to provide structured theme-based activities for the children in a caring and nurturing environmen­t. Events at Holy Trinity

The Church of the Holy Trinity: On Sundays at 9:30 a.m., all are we welcome to join CAFE - Christian Adult Formation and Education in the St. Andrew’s Room for a ministry that covers a wide variety of relevant topics in a variety of formats. On April 13, the Second Thursday Study Group will meet for a one-hour program in the St. Andrews Room. Bring a bagged lunch, beverages are provided. On Mondays from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., knitters and quilters are invited to create a variety of items from prayer shawls, knitted baby items and quilts. Proceeds from the sale of these items are distribute­d to a variety of outreach programs and charities. All experience levels are welcome.

On April 22, Tea With Emma will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Step back in time and enjoy an Victorian Tea with the Women of Holy Trinity Hostess, Emma Rose, will provide tea and scones along with a presentati­on on the etiquette and traditions of Victorian teatime. Spaghetti Dinner
