Victoria R. Van Loan, 48, born in West Chester, PA June 18, 1968 formerly of Malvern, PA died peacefully in her sleep of organ failure on March 27, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Roland C. Van Loan and Adrienne (Audrey) Van Loan. She is survived by sisters, Angela Frey, Julia Stewart, Madeline Leach and Vanessa Van Loan Polchin and brothers, Jonathan Van Loan and Roland Van Loan. She is survived by her step daughter Linnea Vigerland, 11 nieces and nephews and 5 greatniece­s and great-nephews. She is also survived by many cousins. Victoria deeply loved her step daughter, her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, greatnephe­ws, cousins and her Godson/nephew Ethan Polchin. Victoria is now in heaven with her brother-inlaw, Eric R. Polchin.

Victoria majored in internatio­nal relations/communicat­ions at Mt. Vernon College in Washington, D.C. She also studied Russian at West Chester University. She worked at the American Embassy in Moscow as an independen­t tutor for the Anglo-American school. She also worked as studio manager for the largest residentia­l recording studio in the world. She was also the “side-kick” to radio personalit­y “Dave in the Mornings” as well as coproducer for the show in Sweden. Victoria lived in many different countries including Sweden, England, South Africa, Russia and Australia. She met many friends along the way whom she loved very much. She was an avid horse rider. She enjoyed riding Lucy, her favorite horse in Valley Forge Park where she met many friends that she loved very much. She also hiked through most of South America.

A Celebratio­n of Victoria’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on April 29, 2017 at The Church of the Good Samaritan in Paoli, PA. Following the service the family will welcome all to a luncheon at the Desmond Hotel in Malvern.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Victoria Van Loan Memorial Fund to be donated to various charities including Domestic Violence.
