Rose Tree Pops Concert

Church: Step into Spring and be thoroughly entertained by attending the upcoming Rose Tree Pops Concert, titled “Cityscapes,” under the direction of Dr. Roberta Winemiller, on Sunday, April 23 at 7 p.m. The concert will be presented at 105 N. Sproul Road, Broomall, PA where there is plenty of free parking. The Rose Tree Pops Orchestra will play a varied selection of music, including excerpts from Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, La Suerte de los Tontos by Johnny Richards, A Salute to the Big Apple by Calvin Custer and several other entertaining pieces. A special treat for jazz lovers will be the performance of Summertime, by George Gershwin, featuring the Rose Tree Pops Jazz Orchestra. Rose Tree Pops Concerto Competition winner, Alisa Borisovsky, who will perform George Gershwin’s classic Rhapsody in Blue. The concert is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.
