Albert M. D’Antonio of Malvern

Albert M. D’Antonio, age 95 passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017 at his home in Malvern, PA.

He was the beloved husband of the late Marian Holland D’Antonio.

Albert was born on November 26, 1921 in Wayne, PA to the late Antonio and Virginia Falcone D’Antonio.

He was a 1939 graduate of Radnor High School and attended Drexel College and Georgia Tech.

Albert was a veteran of the US Army during WW II. He was a self-employed contractor, specializi­ng in excavation and driveways.

Albert was a member of Saint Patrick Church, and the Troop Committee of Boy Scout Troop 78 in Willistown for over 50 years. He also volunteere­d for more than 15 years for the Great Valley School District.

Survivors: Father of Richard (Patty), Steven (Renee), Robert ContiD’Antonio (Marcia), and Michael (Susan); grandfathe­r of Gregory, Nicole, Brett, Michelle Langianese, Robert, and Jackie; brother of Violet and the late Rinaldo, Joseph, Henry, Eleanor, Anthony and Helen.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Albert’s Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11:30am at Saint Patrick Church, 104 Channing Avenue, Malvern, PA, where friends may visit from 10:30-11:30am. Interment Saint Agnes Cemetery, West Chester, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Albert’s name to Friends of Troop 78, Inc., PO Box 22, Malvern, PA 19355, and will be designated for the endowment fund for perpetual cabin maintenanc­e.
