Charles L. Lewis, Jr., 63, of Malvern, known by all who knew and loved him as Chip, died May 11, 2017. Raised in West Chester, the eldest son of the late Charles and Nancy (Durante) Lewis, Beloved husband of Diane (Hiepler) with whom he shared 37 years, and loving father of Matt and Carolyn. He also leaves his six siblings, Susan Ciccarone (Donny), Joan MacDonald (Jeff), Cindy Miller (Alan), Nancy Farrington (Dave), Bob Lewis (Lynn), Paula Lewis (Tony) and nine nieces and nephews and grand niece, Addyson.

Chip graduated in 1971 from Henderson High School and Villanova University in 1975. Until his retirement in 2015, he was Business Manager for the Oxford Area School District, along with serving many clients as CPA.

Chip generously gave his time and expertise to several non-profit boards. Chip was a member of DVASBO and PASBO from 1987-2017, serving in various officer positions during that time, including President. He also served as President of Rotary Club of Oxford, a board member of CCRES, Oxford Area School District Education Foundation and school board secretary for many years in addition to being an original member of the Chester County Tax Collection Committee. Most recently he was PASBO liaison for the southeaste­rn PA region.

Relatives and friends are invited to Chip’s Life Celebratio­n on Thursday May 18th, 2017 from 10-12 at Alleva funeral Home, 1724 East Lancaster Ave, Paoli PA, 19301.
