DRUG PARAPHERNALIA >> A 24-year-old male from Rising Sun, Maryland, was taken into custody on April at 6:13 p.m. at Walmart in Lower Oxford for a retail theft. Various drug paraphernalia was recovered from his body, police said.
THEFT >> Charges have been field against Chad Kenneth Williams, 38, of Conowingo for stealing copper wire from a company in the 3300 block of Newark Road in Upper Oxford on April 21 at 1:40 p.m., police said.
DUI >> A 52-year-old Mr. Barlow male from Avondale was arrested for DUI after a crash in the 700 block of West Cypress Street in Kennett Township on May 5 at 11:13 p.m., police said.
POSSESSION >> James Daniel Yannuzzi, 18, was stopped for a violation in the 900 block of East Baltimore Pike in Est Marlborough Township on May 8 at 5:05 p.m. Police detected an odor of marijuana, searched the car and found marijuana and paraphernalia, police said.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT >>A 22-year-old male from Gordonville assaulted and broke facial bones of a female in the 100 block of Valley View Road in Highland Township on April 8 at 4:05 a.m., police said.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF >> A 36-year-old male from Rising Sun, Maryland, got into an argument with a 28-year-old female while traveling on Route 1 in West Nottingham Township on May 9 at 6:22 p.m. He pushed the victim and then threw her phone out the window, police said.
FAILURE TO YIELD >> An unidentified driver was pulling out of an intersection on Fremont Road south of Franklin Drive in West Nottingham Township on April 20 at 5:33 p.m. without yielding to oncoming traffic. That driver struck an oncoming vehicle and then fled. The police terminated a pursuit because of erratic driving and the high rate of speed, police said.
POLE HIT AND DUI >> Rogelio Vivero Jr., 34, of Oxford was traveling on Scroggy Road in Lower Oxford Township on April 30 at 5: 57 p.m. He lost control and hit a utility pole. Vivero was taken into custody for DUI, police said.
SIMPLE ASSAULT >> A 34-year-old Avondale man was reported to have physically assaulted a 14-year-old boy in the 900 block of Aringa Way in London Grove Township on April 19, police said.
SIMPLE ASSAULT >> A 17-yearold female was charged via juvenile petition with and assault on a 39-year-old female in the unit block of Apple Drive in West Nottingham Township on April 30 at 12:15 a.m., police said. ACCESS DEVICE FRAUD >> Someone racked up $4,5000 in credit card charges on a resident of Lincoln University in New London Township on April 11 at 12:56 p.m., police said.
ONE CAR >> Denise Bradley, 43, of Wilmington was traveling southbound on Route 1 in Penn Township on May and at 9:44 p.m. and hit a deer. She was not hurt, but her car sustained disabling front end damage, police said.
RETAIL THEFT >> Jordan Renee Crampton, 26, of Avondale and Alexandra Leigh Woolfolk, 25, of Landenberg attempted to leave Walmart in the 500 block of Schoolhouse Road in East Marlborough Township on May 9 without paying. Charges have been files, police said.
ACT 64 >> A 45-year-old female was arrested for having marijuana in her car on Route 52 in Pocopson Township on May 10 at 8:20 p.m., police said.
RAILROAD CROSSING >> Kenneth Taylor, 25, of Newark, Delaware, was travel-
ing south on Route 896 in Penn Township and struck a railroad crossing pole. His car then turned over and slid onto the tracks. He was not injured, but the car was damaged, police said.
MAILBOX HIT >> On May 10 police determined that a Mitsubishi Galant had hit a mailbox in Liberti Lane in Franklin Township and then fled, police said. NO LICENSE >> A driver without a license failed to proceed cautiously after a stop sign on Baltimore Pike at Forge Road in East Nottingham Township on April 7 at 5:19 a.m. The driver then hit an oncoming car, police said.
