West Fallowfield Christian School: Two-, threeand five-day programs for three and four year olds. The classes meet from 9 to 11:45 a.m. The hands-on curriculum incorporates reading readiness, math skills, language arts, prehandwriting, science, art, music, drama, physical education, devotions, Bible, Spanish and library. Students learn through center time, discovery play, and hands-on activities, as well as fine and gross motor skill development. Small class sizes allow for individual attention.
The preschool also offers a Mom’s Day Out program monthly on the third Wednesday from noon to 3 p.m. It features a different theme each month. The goal of the program is to provide structured theme-based activities for the children in a caring and nurturing environment. It includes learning centers, story time, circle time, craft and outdoor play. The cost for the program is $15 per session. A snack is provided. Space is limited. Trinity: Trinity Book Worms will meet Monday, May 22 to discuss “A Long Way Home” by Saroo Brierly. This memoir was first a media sensation, then an international best seller and in 2016 was made into the award winning movie Lion. This true story will be a springboard for an hour of discussion.
