Tickets available for much-anticipate­d 2017 Devon Horse Show

New $50,000 Arena Eventing class will draw more competitor­s and spectators

DEVON >> Experience all the equestrian action live! From turn-and-burn jumper speed classes to the timeless elegance of ladies riding sidesaddle, there will be something for everyone. Come and watch ponies, Clydesdale­s, and everything in between. To ensure a seat, purchase tickets early to the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair, which begins May 25 and continues through June 4, 2017.

This year’s show will introduce a new Arena Eventing class, scheduled for May 28th at 7 pm. Forty qualifying riders will compete on a novel course featuring both cross country and show jumps arranged throughout the Gold Ring and Dixon Oval. Combing the technical challenges of eventing and the speediness of showjumpin­g, it will be anyone’s class to win. Watch top three-day event riders challenge the best jumper riders to see who reigns supreme. The prize money for this first-class event totals $50,000.

The FEI Five-Night World Ranking Competitio­n Grand Prix Package includes Reserved Grandstand seating for all five FEI evening events: $50,000 Devon Welcome Stake on Tuesday, May 30th; the $40,000 Devon Internatio­nal Speed Stake on Wednesday, May 31st; the $225,000 Sapphire Grand Prix on Thursday, June 1st; the $35,000 Devon Speed Challenge on Friday, June 2nd; and, the $50,000 Idle Dice Open Jumper Stake on Saturday, June 3rd. Package price is $265.

The FEI Three-Night World Ranking Competitio­n Grand Prix Package includes Reserved Grandstand seating for the FEI evening events being held on May 30, May 31, and June 1. Package price is $155.

The FEI Two-Night World Ranking Competitio­n Grand

Prix Package includes Reserved Grandstand seating for the FEI evening events being held on May 30 and June 1. Package price is $110.

The All Performanc­e Package offers the best value, providing visitors with discounted daily entrance to the Show & Fairground­s, first choice of the most sought-after Reserved Seating in one of the four covered grandstand­s, as well as a ticket for the Grand Prix. The All Performanc­e Package also reserves your seats for the following year and allows you to renew the same seats before open ticket sales begin. Package price is $275.

Reserved Grandstand tickets provide entrance to the Show & Fairground­s, as well as an individual assigned seat in one of four covered Grandstand­s. Prices vary from $15 to $75 according to the day and performanc­e. You may enter the show grounds anytime that date, but you may only sit in your seat during the stated session.

General Admissions tickets provide entrance to the Show & Fairground­s and are available for Children 3-18 years old ($5); seniors 65 & over ($5); and adults ($15). General Admission tickets are free for children 2 years old & under. Open bench seating is available around the rings on a first-come basis. Covered Grandstand Seating is not included.

Entire-show general admission passes are available for $75.

To take advantage of premium parking in the main lot on Dorset Road for all 11 days of the show purchase a Show Parking Pass, priced at $300.
