Police arrest woman for reportedly using counterfeit money

Police investigated several retail theft reports

West Whiteland police said Shirley Bradford, 25, of Philadelphia, was charged with forgery and theft by deception after an investigation into two alleged counterfeit $100 bills that were reportedly passed at the Target and Kohl’s stores on April 18. Bradford was arraigned by Judge John Bailey on June 5 and released on a $5,000 unsecured bail, according to the police report.
