Rob Coyne doubled in the tie-breaking run in the eighth inning as Victory Brewing edged the Barnstorme­rs, 7-6 in Coatesvill­e Adult Baseball League action Wednesday.

Greg Bender delivered a one-out double. Coyne followed with his double to give Victory the lead. Coyne was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Chad Todd pitched two innings of hitless relief with three strikeouts for the win.

The Barnstorme­rs rallied with six runs in the seventh to tie the score.

RED MEN 8, JAYS 3 » The Tribe scored all their runs in the first inning for the West Chester Baseball League victory. Carmen Sano Sano and Colin Augustine combined for four hits, two runs scored and two hits. Nate Guers hit his league-leading fifth homer. Brian Brown pitched three innings for the win.

Jared Urban went 2-for-4 with a run scored and Kevin Berry was 2-for-3 with an RBI

TRI-COUNTY SENIOR MODIFIED » Lou Stoltzfus had two hits and was the winning pitcher as Fence Sense/ Proudfoot Roofing posted a 7-2 win over Allstate Insurance. Dean Young also had two hits. Chris King, Charlie Jelk and Ben Stoltzfus registered two hits apiece for Allstate. Jitters Sports Bar tallied six runs in the top of the seventh inning en route to a 14-6 victory. Joe Turek, Darren Stoltzfus and Larry Davies homered. Wilson Marzan was the winning pitcher and benefitted from shortsop Kevin Forman turing two line drive double plays. Landmark Auto collected a 5-2 win over Road Scholar Transport. Casey Wertz had three hits and two RBIs and Bill Young added two doubles and scored twice. Ruben Torres had a solo home run for Road Scholar.

WEST CHESTER ALUMNI LEAGUE » The alumni league tipped off Thursday as Rustin used 13 points from Zack Butcher to post a 6358 win over Diamond State, which received 28 points from Shaddy Lewis. Team Elite edged Chester County Mutts, 70-66. Jamal Slater led Elite with 19 points. Jason McCormick 21 for the Mutts. In double overtime, Kennett shaded West Chester East, 85-83. Kenny Bermudez had 24 for Kennett, while Chris Richardson paced East with 19 points. Rigtheous Felons turned back McElree Harvey, 7971. Matt McCarrick led the winners with 21 points and Joey Hoban paced Harvey with 19 points. Behind 27 points from Damond Vance, the Ridgeways rolled past Great Valley, 76-54. Mike Donatoni had 19. Rashon DeJarnette scored 22 points for Let It Fly in its 64-52 victory over Henderson, which was led by 17 points from Julius Gray.
