DEER HIT » A driver hit a deer on West Baltimore Pike near Paschall Mill Road in Penn Township on June 11 at 8:01 a.m. The driver was not injured, police said. TWO CAR CRASH » Amanda Barksdale, 30, of Ripley, Wests Virginia was traveling south on Kimberly Lane in New London Township on June 1 at 11:46 a.m. and sideswiped another vehicle. Her can then flipped on its roof. She suffered a suspected minor injury, police said. SCATTERING RUBBISH » A woman observed trash all over her lawn in the 1200 block of Clay Creek Road in London Grove Township on May 21 at 3:52 p.m. It turned out to be trash from McDonald’s. After reviewing the video, she identified the vehicle with the operator throwing the trash. She then contacted the police, police said. ACCESS DEVICE FRAUD » A 56-year-old male from Delaware County found unauthoriz­ed charges on his debit card on April 25 in Lower Oxford. The charges were made to a GTL Inmate Phone company. The victim believes his credit card was taken from his unlocked truck when it was parked at a home where he was looking to rent, police said. RETAIL THEFT » A 39-yearold male from West Grove was taken into custody on an outstandin­g warrant in the 800 block of Commons Drive in Lower Oxford. It was also determined that he was involved in retail theft at that location, police said. RETAIL THEFT » Two females stole about $140 worth of merchandis­e from Walmart in Lower Oxford on June 11 at about 2:30 p.m., police said. REAR END COLLISION » A driver rear-ended another that was slowing to turn from Newark Road to Street Road in West Marlboroug­h Township on June 1 at 4:11 p.m. Both vehicles were driven from the scene, police said. RAN A RED LIGHT » A driver ran a red light on while traveling north on Route 41 in London Grove Township at Hepburn Road on June 1 at 6:22 p.m. That driver then struck the vehicle coming out of Hepburn Road said he did not see the red light because the sun was in his eyes. The driver with the sun in his eyes was determined to have a suspended Florida license, and his registrati­on was expired, police said. DRUGS » Michael Anthony Akana Sr. of Oxford was arrested for possession of marijuana on the Route 1 bypass near Route 796 on May 26 at 9:51 p.m., police said. BAD CHECKS » Sherry Nicole Soto, 31, passed a bad check in Lower Oxford on May 9 at noon, police said. MORE BAD CHECKS » Walter Charles Webb, 60, passed a bad check in Lower Oxford on Dec. 3 at noon, police said. TWO-VEHICLE COLLISION » Ryan Pepe, 19, of West Grove suffered a suspected minor injury as he attempted to negotiate a right curve on State Road in London Grove Township but was going too fast on June 13 at 5:07 p.m. As a result, he traveled into the lane of opposing traffic ands hit another vehicle head-on. That driver also suffered a suspected minor injury, police said. HIT AND RUN » Jeffrey Taylor, 51, of West Grove suffered serious injuries as he was hit by a vehicles as he attempted to cross Baltimore Pike near Lewis Road on May 24 at 4:39 a.m. at a point other than a cross walk. The driver of the striking vehicle then fled the scene.\ IDENTITY THEFT » Someone made fraudulent charges on the credit card of a 56-yearold Oxford resident in the 200 block of Elk Creek Road in East Nottingham Township on May 19 at 10:52 a.m., police said. UNSAFE PASS » A driver on Pocopson road in Pocopson Township on June 10 at 6:17 p.m. attempted to pass another car but struck it as it was making a left turn. The striking vehicle could be driven but the drive called a towing service, police said. MERGING » Lindsay Traino, 17, of Avondale was struck be a vehicle as she was trying to merge onto eastbound traffic but was unable to do it safely on West Baltimore Pike in Penn Township on May 30 at 7:10 a.m. The striking vehicle fled the scene, police said. BURGLARY AND KIDNAPPING » Troy William Losey went into a home in the 10 block of Hickory Drive in West Fallowfiel­d Township on June 10 at 6 a.m. He then took children and put them in his vehicle. He then brought them to his home. His wife then call their daughter and said that the wife of the caller took the kids from the home. He was later caught by police while he was heavily intoxicate­d. He was charged with multiple offenses including burglary, kidnapping and DUI, police said. DRUGS » West Grove EMS called police in response to an unconsciou­s male from Cochranvil­le in the 100 block of Fernwood Road in Londonderr­y Township on May 29 at 8:45 a.m. A search of the victim’s area revealed heroin and drug parapherna­lia, police said. TREE HIT » Someone hit a tree on State Road near Meadow Woods Lane in London Grove Township on June 8 at 12:30 a.m., police said. RETAIL THEFT » Samantha Marie Teti, 30, and Danielle Yvonne Speakman, 41, both of West Grove, are accused of taking loose change from a vehicle at Dunkin Donuts in Avondale on June 15 at 12:20 p.m. The owners of the vehicles then confronted Teti and Speakman and got into a physical altercatio­n. On June 17, Teti and Speakman were taken into custody and remanded to Chester County Prison, police said. RETAIL THEFT » Mujahid Khabir Sahkoor, 21, of West Grove was taken in custody after committing retail theft at Walmart in the 500 block of Schoolhous­e Road in East Marlboroug­h Township on June 17 at 12:44 p.m. He was also charged with provided false identifica­tion, police said. COLLISION » Liliana Gutierrez, 34, of Atglen was leaving the gas station at the Route 10 intersecti­on with Route 41 but struck a car about to turn left onto Route 10 on June 16 at 5:18 p.m. No one was injured, police said.
