Paul William Moog of West Goshen Twp., PA

Paul William Moog, 79, of Chester County, Pennsylvania, died Friday, June 23rd, 2017 at The Willoughby Condominium, Chevy Chase, MD, while battling angiosarcoma, a rare, aggressive form of cancer.

He leaves his wife of 57 years, Velda (Jerrehian) Moog; his son, Paul William Moog, Jr. and his wife Kathleen Spector Moog; his daughter Elizabeth Alison Moog and her husband Richard Hardy; his daughter Audrey Elaine Moog and her husband Brendan McKeon; and his daughter Katherine Cara Moog; his former daughter in law Heidi Pena Moog, his nephews Daniel, Eric and Alec Moog, his cousin Joyce Bell; granddaughter Hannah Gabriella Moog and grandsons Richard Edward McKeon and Jacob Paul McKeon; and many friends in Chester County, Pennsylvania and the Washington D.C. area. His mother Rose Neupauer Moog and father Edward Frederick Moog, brothers Charles, Peter and David and cousin Richard Rockenback all predeceased him.

A funeral service celebrating his life is to be held at the George Washington Memorial Chapel at Valley Forge, PA on Friday, June 30 at 11:30 a.m. The next week, on Friday, July 7 at 10 a.m. there will be a small memorial service at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Norwood Parish, Chevy Chase, MD followed immediately by the interment of his ashes in the Memorial Garden just outside the church.
