Ronald F. Yetter of Coatesville
Ronald F. Yetter, 85, passed away peacefully at Brandywine Hospital on July 4, 2017.
Born in Romansville in 1932, he was the son of the late William J. and Christine Hedrick Yetter.
Ron graduated from Coatesville High School in 1950 and attended GoldeyBeacom School of Business. He served in the U.S. Army at Fort Hood, Texas. He was employed at Lukens Steel Company in the Production Control Department and by Acme Markets. He attended the former First Baptist Church of Coatesville.
Ron was proud of the years he spent as a Boy Scout and was a talented sign painter, who loved old Western movies and peanut butter M&M’s.
Surviving him is his wife of 61 years, Joyce Parker Yetter; a daughter, Cindy Yetter-Vassot; twin granddaughters, Chloe and Olivia Vassot; and sister-in-law, Janet Yetter. He was preceded in death by brothers, Loran and William J. Yetter, Jr.; sister, Carlene Huyard; and son-in-law, JeanPaul Vassot.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather from 1 to 2 p.m., Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Harris Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Hwy., Coatesville.
