Police search home of missing woman
CHARLESTOWN » As the search continues for Anna Bronislawa Maciejewska, state police executed a search warrant at her Malvern home on Thursday.
Maciejewska, 43, who emigrated from Poland, was last seen by her husband leaving their Charlestown Township home on Hedgerow Lane for work on April
10, but she never made it. Her employer at Voya Financial in West Chester reported her missing on April 11 and her husband reported her missing on April 12.
When reached for comment Thursday evening, Pennsylvania State Police said that they are “actively there on a search warrant.” State police said that they were unable to provide any other details at this time. Maciejewska lives with her husband, Allen Gould, 52, and her 4-year-old son.
During the investigation, state police said her 2011 navy blue Audi A4 with the Pennsylvania license plate HTF2919 was found in Charlestown Meadows in the overflow parking lot on Ashtree Drive on May 8. She did not live in that area and it was unknown if Maciejewska had visited the area previously. State police are seeking the public’s help with anyone who may have seen her prior to her disappearance.
During a press conference at the Embreeville Barracks, investigators said they are unable to release any information concerning her car. Lt. Brandon Daniels, criminal investigation section commander, said some of her personal items were found in the car, but declined to elaborate. He added that there is nothing to indicate that Maciejewska was harmed and the investigation continues as a missing person.
“We have not ruled out any possibility of what caused her disappearance,” Daniels said previously during the press conference. “We’re following all possibly avenues at this time.”
Daniels said that Gould did cooperate with police when he reported his wife missing and provided them with “valuable information.” He said in May that state police worked with Gould through his attorney, Evan Kelly, of West Chester. When reached for comment, Kelly said they did not have a comment at this time.
State police said while Maciejewska has family in Poland and discussed visiting family there, they do not believe that she left the country. Maciejewska communicated regularly with her parents in Poland who are in their 80’s, but March 30 was the last time she communicated with them, according to the Finding Anna Maciejewska website at http://www.findingannam.org/p/home.html.
Maciejewska is described as 5-feet 4-inches tall, weighs about 160 pounds and has hazel eyes and blonde hair.
Pennsylvania State Police Embreeville Barracks ask that anyone with information on Maciejewska whereabouts to call the barracks at 610-486-6280 or 911.
