Robert Di Joseph (Bob), passed from this life on July 18, 2017 after a long illness.

He was born at home in Wayne, PA. on May 26, 1928, the second youngest of eight children of Emideo and Elvira Di Joseph.

Bob graduated from Radnor High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean war attaining the rank of staff sergeant.

After serving his country, he attended Villanova University graduating in 1957 and remained an enthusiast­ic lifetime fan of Villanova athletics.

He worked for over thirty years at LNP Corp in Chester County before retiring. He was also a lifetime member of St. Katherine of Siena church and was active with the church until his illness.

He was preceded in death by his wife of over sixty years, Theresa, his parents and all seven of his siblings. He is survived by children Robert Jr. of Norristown, Mary of Suffolk, Va. and Christine Kimmel of Singapore, Grandchild­ren Christophe­r of Langhorne, Pa, Travis of Pembroke, Ma. and Meghan Lass of East Norriton, Pa. as well as great grandchild­ren Jillian, Theresa and Vincent, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday, July 24th at 10:30 am at St. Katharine of Siena Church in Wayne. Int. Calvary Cemetery in W. Conshohock­en. Visitation Monday morning 9:30-10:30 in the Church.

Arrangemen­ts are being handled by the Alleva Funeral Home, Inc., Paoli.
