INTO A DITCH » Alberto Guzman, 38, of Wilmington was driving on Springdell Road in West Marlboroug­h Township on July 14 at 10:01 p.m. when he traveled off the roadway into a ditch, then struck a tree and a metal pole, police said.

DUI » A 17-year-old male from Quarryvill­e was driving impaired and hit a fence on Newark Road in Upper Oxford Township on July 13 at 2:15 a.m., police said. SIMPLE ASSAULT » A 53-year-old male was found to be operating a motor vehicle in the 800 block of Commons Drive in Lower Oxford on July 12 at 10:51 p.m. after the report of a domestic assault by a 39-year-old female from Oxford, police said.

FELL ASLEEP » A driver fell asleep on Route 1 near Route 896 in Lower Oxford Township and went into a ditch on July 15 at 2:42 p.m., police said.

STANDING WATER » A car traveling on Route 1 in Upper Oxford Township near Route 472 went into a puddle, spun around and hit an embankment on July 14 at 3:32 p.m., police said.

DOG LAW » Some loose dogs were chasing a 65-year-old woman in the 100 block of Jackson School road in Lower Oxford Township on July 15 at 11 a.m., police said.

PARKING LOT » A driver pulled too far into the Walmart parking lot in Lower Oxford on July 15 at 6:23 p.m. and bumped the car in front causing scratches, police said.

THEFT » Someone took items from a home in the 100 block of Oxford Street in Lower Oxford Township on July 15 at 2:25 p.m., police said. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF » Someone took a fire extinguish­er from a school bus and discharged it in a nearby field in the 1000 block of Shadyside Road in East Nottingham Township on July 15 at 8:15 p.m., police said. CRIMINAL TRESPASS » Terry Lynn Fenstermac­her, 53, of Oxford was placed in custody and charged after she trespassed on Walmart property in the 800 block of Commons Drive in Lower Oxford on June 23 at 12:40 p.m., police said.

DRUGS » Robert Paul Bryer, 55, of West Grove, brandished a handgun to leave a home in the 2900 block of Guernsey Road in London Grove Township on May 21 at 6:55 p.m. He got involved in a fight with the victim and struck the victim in the face. The victim then said that Bryer sells marijuana from the home and grows it there as well. A search warrant was executed and charges were filed, police said.

THEFT » Someone opened the car door of a 24-yearold from Oxford and took about $60 in change and three credit cards in the 400 block of Nottingham Avenue in East Nottingham Township on June 30 in the evening hours, police said.

ONE CAR CRASH » Sandra Dunfee, 42, of Quarryvill­e was traveling north on West Christine Road in West Nottingham Township on June 3 at 2:06 a.m. when she crossed over into the oncoming land and hit an embankment. The car rolled over and continued to skid, police said.

HAY BALE » A driver hit a hay bale on Route 1 in East Nottingham Township on June 9 at 9:08 a.m. The driver told police that a truck ahead had successful­ly driven over it, but she did not have time to avoid it, police said.
