Rafferty Subaru and LLS spread warmth to cancer patients

For the second year in a row, Subaru of America and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) are spreading love, hope and warmth to cancer patients and their families in communities across the country.

During Subaru’s Loves to Care month, messages of hope for cancer patients were written by visitors to the following Subaru retailers. Those who write a message of hope at a Subaru retailer will also receive a bracelet to help spread awareness of LLS and the automaker’s goal to provide hope and care, one gesture at a time.

Representatives from Rafferty Subaru and LLS delivered those messages, along with blankets, to Paoli Hospital on July 12, 2017, to help keep patients warm as they continue their fight against cancer, and to help spread awareness of LLS and Subaru of America’s goal to provide hope and care, one gesture at a time.

Nationally, Subaru retailers and LLS will deliver nearly 95,000 messages of hope to patients alongside 38,000 blankets to provide comfort and warmth as they continue their fight against cancer, while children battling the disease will receive arts and crafts kits.

LLS is the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world, provides free information and support services, and is the voice for all blood cancer patients seeking access to quality, affordable, coordinated care.
