Delbert J. Boyer III of West Chester, PA

Delbert J. Boyer III, 81, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Chester County Hospital.

Born June 25, 1936 in West Chester, he was the son of late Delbert J. Boyer II and Dorothy “Dot” Boyer.

Delbert III retired from West Chester University, custodial department in 2005.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Boyer, his son, Delbert J. Boyer IV; his daughter, Denise A. Alexander; siblings Spencer Boyer, BarbaraAnn Thomas, Nancy Mitchell, Dorothy Boyer, Thomas “Butch” Boyer, Anthony “Ab” Boyer; step children, Evelyn Spruill, Margaret Burton, Philip Burton, Yvonne Lindsey, Roberta Rowland, and Robert Butcher; aunt Letica Gray and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his youngest son, Dana D. Boyer, brothers, Joseph Boyer, Powell Boyer, Francis Boyer, Michael Boyer; sister Ameena Rasool and step children, Carol Butcher and Jerry Burton.

Friends and family are invited to his funeral service on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 10:00am with a Viewing from 8:30-10:00am at Milestone Events, LLC, 600 E. Market St., West Chester, PA
