Coatesville man arrested on drug charges following investigation
Parkesburg man arrested on child porn charges
A Coatesville man was arrested for possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine and related charges.
Steven Dontae Pittman, 42, also known as “Black,” was arrested following a three-month investigation into alleged narcotics sales by Pittman. During the investigation, vice detectives were able to make controlled buys of crack cocaine from Pittman. He lives on the 400 block of Chestnut Street.
On Aug. 1, a search warrant was executed on Pittman’s residence. Investigators seized approximately 5.5 ounces of cocaine and a half-pound of marijuana, cash, and drug paraphernalia.
Pittman was arrested and charged with six counts of possession with intent to distribute, six counts of possession of controlled substances, nine counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, four counts of dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities, and four counts of criminal use of a communications facility.
Pittman, who is on state parole for prior convictions of possession with intent to distribute, was committed to Chester County Prison in lieu of $40,000 cash bail and a state detainer. A preliminary hearing is pending.
Assistance on the investigation and arrest was provided by vice detectives and the Chester County District Attorney’s office and the Chester County Detectives drug strike force.

A Parkesburg man was arrested on child pornography charges following an investigation by police.
Christopher Joseph Kremski, 25, of the 200 block of West Main Street, was arrested Aug. 4 on 40 felony counts of sexual abuse of children.
On July 16, Cpl. John Sours was conducting an undercover investigation into the Internet Distribution of Child Pornography when
he was able to download several depictions of child pornography from a computer at Kremski’s home.
On Aug. 4, members of the Embreeville Patrol Unit and Criminal Investigation Unit, with the assistance of the state’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation-Computer Crime Unit, served a search warrant at Kremski’s home. A laptop containing image and video depictions of child pornography was seized, police said.
Kremski was arraigned before District Judge Nancy Gill on 40 felony counts and released on unsecured bail.
CAR ACCIDENT »No one was injured in a onecar
crash on Pottstown Pike July 20 at 11:13 p.m. Beatrice Dginto, 73, of West Chester, was driving south on Pottstown Pike in a 2007 Buick Lucerne in the southbound lane when she lost control of her car. The car exited the southbound lane and struck a curb. After impact, the car traveled five feet before it became disabled on the southbound shoulder.
FRAUD » Police said Stacy Jackson, 37, of Malvern, was defrauded of $29.09 from her checking account. An investigation is continuing.
VEHICLE THEFT » Five unlocked vehicles were entered sometime between July 30 at 6:30 p.m. and July 31 at 12:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Whitehorse
Drive in Honey Brook, police said. Suspects gained entry into the five cars parked in their driveways. Items removed included a ring, a necklace, a CD book containing 50 CDs and cash.
FRUIT STAND THEFT » Two suspects are in custody following a theft from an unlocked metal container at a fruit stand on Horseshoe Pike in Honey Brook Township July 24 at 10:28 a.m. According to police, the suspects arrived east in a Green Isuzu Trooper and stole $80 from an unlocked metal container on the counter of the fruit stand. They then fled east. Police were then able to trace the suspects down after getting a license plate number. The suspects were identified as a 55-year-old man from Coatesville and
a 28-year-old.
CRASH » No one was hurt in a one-car crash on Compass Road in West Caln Township on July 29 at 2 a.m. Police said Joseph Wagner, 26, of Coatesville was traveling north on Compass Road in the northbound land when he attempted to make a right turn onto Red Rose Lane. He lost control of his car due to a physical condition. He exited the northbound lane of Compass Road and the passenger side of his 2007 Chevy Silverado struck two mail boxes located at the intersection of Compass Road and Red Rose Lane. After impact, he drove 200 feet before the truck became disabled in a grassy area east of Red Rose Lane. Wagner then fled the scene.
