The preseason schedule has been out for nearly two weeks and three of the marquee games on the regular-season slate were announced last week.

Finally it was time for the Sixers to reveal their schedule for the entire 2017-18 season.

The Sixers kick off the campaign on the road against the Washington Wizards Wednesday, Oct. 18 (7 p.m.). That will be one of nine games broadcast on ESPN and will feature the NBA debuts of Ben Simmons and Markelle Fultz, the last two overall No. 1 draft picks.

In all, the Sixers will play 14 games on national TV, with the other five being on TNT. They will also be on NBA TV eight times. The local TV schedule will be announced at a later date.

Simmons and Fultz will make their home debut Friday, Oct. 20 against the Celtics, but the home fans won’t get to see much of Fultz and Simmons in the early part of the season. The Sixers play 10 of their first 14 games on the road, which includes a fourgame, West Coast swing in November.

Here are a few other notable dates on the schedule:

The Sixers play on Christmas Day for the first time since 2001 when they head to New York to take on the Knicks in Madison Square Garden. Tipoff is Noon and the game can be seen on ESPN. The Sixers head across the pond to play the Celtics in London Jan. 11 (8 p.m.). That counts as “home game” for the Sixers and can be seen on NBA TV.

The defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors make their only trip to the Wells Fargo Center Saturday, Nov. 18. No. 2 pick Lonzo Ball and the L.A. Lakers are in town Dec. 7 (8 p.m., TNT). The Sixers entertain LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers Nov. 27 and April 6.
