John Scott Good of Rockland Township, passed away on Sunday August 20, 2017 at his residence. He was the husband of E. Ivy Dawson – Good. They celebrated 18 years of marriage on April 18th.

Born on June 18, 1962, in West Chester the son of the late John A. Good and Donna (Mann) Good.

Scott was a graduate of Coatesvill­e High School class of 1980. He was a member of U S Ironworker­s Local 420 Reading where he worked as a welder for the past 18 years.

Scott loved cooking, especially when using his hot peppers from his garden, was an avid movie lover and self-proclaimed critic. He was also an Eagles fan, and never lost hope for a championsh­ip. Scott loved his family deeply, including his animals, and always enjoyed the time they spent together.

Surviving are his wife Ivy and two children Jacqueline R. (Good) wife of Jason M. Redman of Lancaster and Cory S. Good of Conshohock­en. He is survived by a granddaugh­ter Ella L. Redman. Other survivors include his sisters Julie G. (Good) wife of Chad Heffner of Lititz and Lori G. (Good) Fallon of Lancaster; also a niece Natalie Heffner and nephew Owen Heffner.

A viewing will be held on Saturday August 26h from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a celebratio­n of Scott’s life from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Due to constructi­on on West Main Street please use Wintergree­n Alley from West Washington Street to enter funeral home.
