FOP endorses row office candidates

Four Republican candidates seeking countywide office were endorsed by the Fraternal Order of Police.

WEST CHESTER » Four Republican candidates seeking countywide office received the endorsemen­t of the Chester County Fraternal Order of Police.

The FOP endorsed Jack London for treasurer, Norman McQueen for re-election as controller, Robin Marcello for re-election as clerk or courts and Dr. Gordon Eck who is running for re-election as coroner.

The four candidates issued the following joint statement: “We are truly honored to have the endorsemen­t of Chester County‘s premier organizati­on representi­ng our police officers. We know the many challenges the men and women in law enforcemen­t face. Chester County’s police officers risk their lives daily to protect our families.

“If elected, the FOP will have four more citizens in office who understand and support their issues.” — From the release

“They sacrifice so much for our residents, and we are grateful for their service,” reads the release.

“If elected, the FOP will have four more citizens in office who understand and support their issues. We are proud to have the FOP’s endorsemen­t, we stand firmly with our police officers and we look forward to working with them as elected officials.”

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 7.
