What to watch: NFL football, ‘Psycho Wedding Crasher’ Catch up on

- By Rob Lowman Southern California News Group

Deutschland 83: (Available on Hulu) Set in 1983, the eight-part series follows Martin Rauch, (Jonas Nay), a soldier who is sent by the East German Intelligence Service to discover NATO’s military intentions. The young spy is caught between his new life in the West and the fact that if he messes up, the East German government holds the key to his mother’s health. Not that any of that bothers his manipulative aunt (Maria Schrader), an agent herself who is his contact. Not as dark as “The Americans,” it still reminds us of the scares and moral dilemmas of the Cold War.
