Janet May Leslie of Wagontown

Janet May Johnston Leslie, 83, went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2017.

She was the loving wife of Harry Leslie and they shared 63 years of marriage.

Born on April 18, 1934 in Downingtown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry Johnston and Anna Regina Withrow Johnston.

Janet worked as a special needs teacher for First Step of Chester County, was very active in her church and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter Kim Urbine and husband Dan, daughter Cheryl Leslie, son Harry Leslie and wife Adriana. Grandchildren, Caitlin O’Brien, Brendan O’Brien, Haley Doutrich, Trent Urbine, Ethan Leslie, Aiyanna Leslie. Sisters, Margaret Mowday, Doris Leslie, Kathryn Colyer, and Mary Elizabeth Pavelik. She was predeceased by a brother Harry Johnston.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 12:00 noon with a time of visitation from 10:00 am till the service at Wagontown Union Chapel, 463 West Kings Hwy., Coatesville.

Interment will follow the service at Pequea Baptist cemetery.
