OUTSTANDIN­G WARRANT »

While conducting a pedestrian stop at the 100 block of West Lincoln Highway on Sept. 22 at 1:49 a.m., Justin White, 27, of the 200 block of Charles Street in Coatesvill­e was found to have an outstandin­g warrant and was taken into custody.

ACCIDENT » No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash Sept. 6 at 2:21 p.m. in the 400 block of West Lincoln Highway.

According to police, Tonya Davis, 48, of Coatesvill­e, was operating a Suzuki XL-7 when she attempted to leave the parking lot, and a vehicle operated by Gary E. Shesko Jr., 33, of Coatesvill­e pulled in front of her. The Davis vehicle sustained minor damage to the front bumper and the Shesko vehicle sustained minor damage to the rear quarter panel. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts , police said.

WARRANT ARREST » On Sept. 9, at 2:11 a.m., officers made a traffic stop at 850 E. Lincoln Highway on a vehicle displaying a suspended registrati­on as well as a rear brake light not working. A passenger in the vehicle, Francis Mascherino, 44, of 1202 Walnut St., Coatesvill­e, was confirmed to have two outstandin­g warrants. He was taken into custody without incident.

HIT AND RUN » Police are looking for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run Sept. 8 at 8:03 p.m. at the intersecti­on of Eleventh Avenue and Merchant Street in Coatesvill­e.

According to police, a legally parked vehicle belonging to Varney Fomba of Downingtow­n was struck by a fleeing vehicle causing light body damage. The vehicle was described by a witness as a dark color 1984 Ford with registrati­on JFK0196 belonging to Jose Antonia Romero. Police do not know who was operating the vehicle at the time of the accident.

CONTEMPT OF COURT » Justin T. Slevin, 22, of Newark, Del., was arrested and charged with Indirect Criminal Contempt of Court, for violating a valid Protection From Abuse Order, police said. The incident occurred on 09/06/2017 at approx. 1100 hours, in the 600 block of Penn Green Road, in New Garden Township. Slevin was taken into custody at the scene. He was processed and arraigned, after which he was committed to the Chester County Prison, in lieu of posting $15,000 cash bail.

DUI » Noberto Ramirez-Mazariegos, age 23, of Avondale was arrested and charged with DUI and related traffic offenses, including leaving the scene of a property damage accident. On Sept. 10 at 7:59 p.m., police were dispatched to the report of an erratic driver, traveling northbound on Gap Newport Pike, north of Limestone Road, in New Garden Township. Police stopped the red Honda in the 8900 block of Gap Newport Pike.

RESISTING ARREST » David P. Medley, 41, of West Grove was arrested and charged with Simple Assault, Resisting Arrest, and related summary offenses, following a domestic disturbanc­e. The incident occurred on Sept. 10 at 8:24 p.m, in the 200 block of Walnut Street, in West Grove Borough. Police were called to the scene for a report of a fight between two males, after a verbal argument turned physical.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNES­S » Modesto Bernal, 55, of

West Grove was cited for Public Drunkennes­s, after he was found to be intoxicate­d to the degree that he was a danger to himself. The incident occurred on Sept. 10 at 7:40 p.m., in the

100 block of Railroad Avenue, in West Grove Borough. Police encountere­d Bernal with dried blood on his face and clothing. He displayed numerous indicators of being intoxicate­d and explained that he had fallen over while walking. He was in possession of two bottles of vodka, police said.
