Shirley M. Vaughn of Honey Brook, formerly of Glenolden

Shirley M. Vaughn, 90 yrs, of Honey Brook, formerly of Glenolden, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017 at the Meadows Healthcare Center at the Tel Hai Retirement Community, following an illness.

She was born in Darby on Feb. 2, 1927. Shirley was the daughter of the late Frederick and Anna (Paxon) Seefeldt. She was the wife of the late Donald J. Vaughn, who died in Dec. of 2009.

Shirley was a homemaker to her beloved family. She enjoyed shopping, her dogs, a cup of coffee and reading tarot cards.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Robert Seefeldt.

She is survived by two sons, Donald Vaughn of Honey Brook and Daniel Vaughn of Pipersville, two daughters, Diane Vaughn of St. Augustine, FL and Sharon Vaughn of Coatesville, two sisters, Jean Pellegrino of Wilmington and Carol Quinn of Exton. There are ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, Oct. 2, 2017 at 11 AM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. Interment will be private at All Souls Cemetery. A calling hour will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Shirley to The Tel Hai Care Assurance Fund, PO Box 190, Honey Brook, Pa. 19344-0190.
