Helen Virginia ‘Ginny’ Natalie of Downingtow­n

Helen Virginia “Ginny” Natalie, 85, fell asleep in death on October 4, 2017, at the Chester County Hospital.

She was a lifelong resident of Chester County, graduating from Downingtow­n High School in 1950.

She shared 64 years of marriage with the late Frank Natalie.

She was the daughter of Charles T. and Catherine Goodwin Popjoy.

She was the youngest of twelve children, now survived by three sisters, Sarah Elizabeth Larned, Anna Mabel Marshall and Alice Miriam Cohen. She had many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by four children, John Natalie, Mary (Richard) Zezenski, Donna (Daniel) Cromwell, and Andrew (Denise) Natalie; 10 grandchild­ren and nine great grandchild­ren.

She was predecease­d by a daughter in law Margaret “Peggy”, John’s wife.

Ginny enjoyed spending her time with family. Always ready to welcome friends to their home, Ginny had a large extended family as well. She was very good at crossword puzzles and could often be found with a puzzle book close by. She had a deep love for Bible reading and study and was eager to discuss Bible truths with anyone who would lend a listening ear. Her desire was that all come to know Jehovah God and the Bible’s promise of a happy future. (Psalm 37:10, 11)

Services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017. Visitation will be held from 2:30 to 4 P.M. followed by a memorial talk at 4 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 67 Octorara Road, Parkesburg, PA 19365.
