Adam Joseph Baruka, 61, of Nottingham, formerly of Minersvill­e, PA passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 in Neighborho­od Hospice, West Chester.

He was the husband of Shannon Pope Baruka with whom he shared 16 years of marriage.

Born in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Stephen and Susan Verchick Baruka.

He was employed with State Farm Insurance as an auto damage appraiser for 20 years. He was formerly an automobile mechanic for 20 years. In 2004, he fulfilled a life dream of owning his own business. He owned and operated a tool truck for Cornwell Tools 2004-2007 selling Cornwell Tools to local mechanics and body shops.

When not spending time with his family Adam enjoyed billiards, the shooting range, working on cars and was an avid MMA fan.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Chase and Nicholas Sullins; two daughters, Alyssa Sullins and Carlee Baruka all at home; two sisters, Veronica Hoepstine of Vancouver, WA and Helen Florida (Charles) of Muir, PA; two nieces, Kim Meadors and Taylor Sturgill; and three nephews, Michael and Vincent Meehan and Timothy Sturgill.

He was preceded in death by one nephew, Mark Starzetsky. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Castleman’s Disease Collaborat­ion Network, P.O. Box 3614, Paso Robles, CA 93447, www.CDCN.org.
