Fiddler on the Roof Jr. tryouts
Beth Chaim Reform Con-gregation: Beth Chaim’s Schmata Productions Community Youth Theater invites all students in 5th-12th grades to audition for Fiddler on the Roof, Jr. No experience needed! Please be prepared to sing 30 seconds to 1 minute of a song that you feel shows your abilities (karaoke accompaniment is welcomed) and to read some scenes from the script with other audition participants. Rehearsals are Sundays at 1 p.m. (along with some Wednesday evenings closer to the show) and performances are in early June at West Chester University. Rummage Sale
Oxford United Methodist Church: On Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 16-18, the church will host a rummage sale in Fellowship Hall, Market and Addison streets, Oxford. The event boasts good deals on clothing, toys, books, jewelry, household goods, small furniture, decorations, tools, etc. Sale hours are 6 to 8p.m. Thursday, 9a.m. to 4p.m. Friday, and 9a.m. to noon Saturday. Services, events at Holy Trinity
The Church of the Holy Trinity: The church, 212S. High St., West Chester, will offer Rite 1service at 8a.m. and Rite 11service at 10:30 a.m. Nursery will be provided for the 10:30service. The Wednesday Healing Service is at 9a.m. in the Chapel of the Ascension. Free Parking is available in the Union Street parking lot. Catacomb Closet, Holy Trinity’s Thrift Shop is open from 10a.m. to 3p.m. Donations may be delivered to the church during regular office hours Monday thru Friday 10 a.m. to 3p.m.
Fall services
St. Paul’s United Church of Christ: The church, at 101 Worthington Road, Exton welcomes the community to services for the fall schedule. Two worship services are held: The 9a.m. service is an informal gathering with a variety of acoustic music, and the 10:30a.m. service ismore traditional. Children are welcome to participate in Sunday School during the 9a.m. service.
