Devon Lanes partners with Toys for Tots

-

It is the time of the season where thoughts turn to the gift giving spirit. With that in mind, Devon Lanes will be a local drop off point for donations for the US Marine Corps Toys for Tots program that gives brand new toys to children in need. As a local familyowned business, owners Scott and Brett Furman of RE/MAX Classic along with their sister, Pam Kofsky of Elegant Interiors, are supporters of several charitable endeavors during the year.

“Toys for Tots is the newest organization that we want to support,” said Scott Furman. “We love that United States Marine Corps Reserve members collect and distribute toys – all kids deserve a present to open at the holidays and we are planning on making this an annual tradition going forward.”

As of 2016, the Toys for Tots Program and Foundation have collected and distributed more than 512 million toys.

Drop-off bins are located at Devon Lanes near the main counter until Dec. 11. Please make sure your donated toys are new and unwrapped. Scott, Brett and their sister Pam introduced a brandnew management team for Devon Lanes last December that has brought new life to the center. In 2018, Devon Lanes will be celebrating 60 years as a bowling center along the Main Line. Community and giving back will be the main focus for their Diamond Jubilee year. Additionally, Devon Lanes has always been proud to supporter the ALS Hope Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
