Mary Barbara Schenker of Glenmoore

Mary Barbara Schenker, 90 yrs., of Glenmoore, formerly of Rochester, NY, died on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017 at the Brandywine Hall in West Chester, following an illness.

She was born in Boston, Mass. on Nov. 17, 1927. Mary Barbara was the daughter of the late Trueman and Kathleen (Kelly) Lincoln Ramsey.

She was a homemaker to her beloved family. Mary Barbara was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and the Catholic Golden Age Club. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and gardening. Mary Barbara was also a volunteer at the Re-Uzit Shoppe in Morgantown.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Neva Clukey.

Surviving is a son, Frederick W. Schenker, III of Havana, FL and a daughter, Barbara S. Swarcheck of Glenmoore. There are also ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017 at 11 AM from St. Peter’s Catholic, 2835 Manor Road Church, West Brandywine, Pa. 19320. A calling hour will be from 10 to 10:45 AM at the church. Interment will be private at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Syracuse, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Mary Barbara to St. Peter’s Catholic Church at the above address.
