Bishop Shanahan High School will once again hold their annual festivity, The Christmas Craft and Gift show.
DOWNINGTOWN » Bishop Shanahan High School announces their annual festivity, The Christmas Craft and Gift show. This day spent celebrating the holiday season draws 154 handmade crafters and 18 select small business vendors to one location. This year Shanahan will host the show on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a snow date of Sunday, Dec. 3. Proceeds from the show go to purchase educational supplies and to support Bishop Shanahan High School’s student activities, such as academic competitions, after school clubs and more.
This event safely boasts as one of the largest craft fairs in Chester County. As an annual event, it sees well over 2,000 guests each year who are eager to shop. Handmade crafts present at this year’s show will include holiday decorations, woodwork, photography, original artwork, jewelry, baby clothes, women’s accessories, home décor, and more. The 2017 show welcomes select small business vendors including Waffatopia, Color Street, LuLaRoe, Pampered Chef, Scentsy, and more. Other highlights include a raffle table featuring show participants’ products, a high end raffle table with holiday gifts and décor, and a delicious bake sale.
This year’s event is made possible through the generosity of show participants and community volunteers including the Bishop Shanahan Parents Association, the 2017 Christmas Craft & Gift Show Committee, student volunteers, and many more.
